Dear Parishioners,
We are so grateful for your generous support and participation at our 43rd Saint Anthony Annual Feast earlier this month. It was an overwhelming success both socially and financially. The report will be forthcoming and you will be pleased. We want to thank our dedicated Feast Committee for organizing and overseeing the event along with the North Providence Police for keeping everyone safe, Harold Fera, whose Rockwell Amusements provided entertaining rides which drew a lot of young people, the food and other vendors for delicious food items, the talented musicians whose entertainment through the three days kept everyone in good spirits, our youth group who ran the Del’s Lemonade booth, and the flea market volunteers who set up the event in the Parish Center. The Grand Raffle sold a record 810 tickets and the Pot of Gold was well supported too. The Holy Name Society members worked hard to organize and run these raffles and solicit the banners that were hanging in the feast tent and will be displayed again in the fall for the bazaar. The success of this year’s Feast was indeed a team effort from Saint Anthony and Presentation parishes.
