2017 ANNUAL HOLDAY BAZAAR

NOVEMBER 11&12

Plans are underway for the 27th Annual Holiday Bazaar to benefit our Religious Education and Youth Ministry Programs. As in the past this event is a tri-parish effort to bring people together. Donations of hand-crafted items, gift baskets and Christmas items are needed. We are in need of volunteers to help before, and during the bazaar. If you can assist please contact  Maryann Pallotta at 353-5215.

 

CRAFTS

Several of our parishioners are making crafts at home for our Holiday Bazaar. If you are talented in this area and are willing to donate some of your creations to our craft table, please contact the Rel. Ed. Office,  353-5215.

 

MRS CLAUS’ ATTIC / FLEA MARKET

DONATIONS NEEDED

We will be accepting items for the upcoming Holiday Bazaar. Christmas and /or holiday items, giftware, glass items, linens, table top Christmas trees only. We are not accepting cloths, shoes, handbags, appliances, televisions, computers, computer monitors, printers, furniture, stuffed animals, pillows, bedding, full size Christmas trees,  cribs, car seats, or baby walkers.

Items can be dropped off at the rear of the Saint Anthony Parish Center. For more information please call Susan at 232-5713 or Maryann at 353-5215.

 

BAKERS NEEDED

We are in need of sweet treats and baked goods for the Sweet Booth at the Holiday Bazaar. Donations of baked goods may be brought to the Bazaar Saturday  morning or Sunday morning. If you would like to donate an item or volunteer at the Sweet Booth, please call Ann Amaral at 263-4203.

 

PARISH FAMILY BREAKFAST

Our annual breakfast will take place on Sunday November 12th, from 8am-11am. Santa arrives at 9:30am! Tickets will be on sale after all Masses on Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th.

 

KIDDIE KORNER

Fun activities for the younger children of the parent who visit the Annual Holiday Bazaar. There will be coloring and games for children of all ages. The booth will be staffed by the members of the Compass Program. Look forward to seeing you!!!!!!

THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY

WITH TOBY ANDREWS AND JOSHUA MASOOD

Director of Music at Saint Anthony, and the Church of the Presentation, Toby Andrews, and Saint Anthony Parishioner,  Joshua Masood, will be performing in The Academy Players production of Jason Robert Brown’s musical The Bridges of Madison County, based on the by Robert James Waller. CHOIR SEASON BEGINS

Choir rehearsals will commence on Thursday, November 9th at 7pm at the Church of the Presentation. We encourage all members of the choir and all those interested in joining to attend this rehearsal as we begin our preparation for the new choir season.

COAT AND HOODIE DRIVE

We are accepting clean, gently used winter coats and hooded sweatshirts.  All sizes welcome.  Larger sizes much needed.  Many of the less fortunate dress in layers to protect themselves against the harsh winter weather. October Dates: 18th, 25th from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. November Dates 9th 15th and 29th from 7:00-8:00PM.
