THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Dialogue is born when I am capable of recognizing others as a gift of God and accept that they have something to tell me.

- Pope Francis

2017 MASS INTENTION REQUEST POLICY

Due to the increased demand for masses, the weekend mass intention request policy is being adjusted for all three churches:

  • Up to three different individuals will be allowed to reserve an intention at each of the weekend masses.

  • When scheduling a mass, two individual names or two family (last) names will be accepted (i.e. John and Mary Jones or the Jones and Sam families)

  • A $10 offering will be accepted for each of the intentions and is due when the mass is reserved.

  • One family member from each of the families will bring up the gifts during the offertory, if they choose to do so.

This change will allow more people to remember their deceased loved ones at the Mass throughout the year by combining intentions.  Many of your know this practice was initiated with the 10 AM mass at the Church of the Presentation in 2016 and has been well received.

The 2017 Mass books will be available on Wednesday, September 28th.  Mass intentions may be scheduled on or after September 28th by visiting or calling the rectory Monday through Thursday from 9 AM - 4 PM.
